Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Banks, movie theatres and cabarets were major targets for demonstrators in Tehran. Workers in the public sector began to go on strike, which virtually shut down the government and crippled the country. Violent clashes between demonstrators and the Shah's troops became a daily occurrence. Tehran, Iran June,1978.
