The trial of the members and the Head of the Central Committee of the Union of Communists of Iran, 28 or 30 individuals were tried together. The trial was held at an auditorium at the Evin Prison in Tehran. the trial was not given access to any attorney by Ayatollah Mohammad Mohammadi Gilani, the judge of Tehran's Islamic Revolutionary Court, who had two of his own sons executed and Asadollah Lajevardi (R) the chief prosecutor of Tehran and the warden of the Evin Prison in Tehran,Iran 1983.
