A young couple share an intimate moment in a park in central Tehran. In the past, public displays of affection would have been severely punished. Today, couples can walk freely in parks and sit together. While holding hands is tolerated, other affectionates public displays are not permitted by the regime and are considered taboo for unmarried women. IRAN - May 2006.
