Armenian priest at home in New Julfa is the Armenian quarter of Isfahan, Armenian priests do not have the sacrement of celibacy, they can get married. Unless they request to become bishops, then they do not marry. The Armenian area in Isfahan is still today an Armenian-populated area with an Armenian school and at least twelve churches, Armenians observe Iranian law with regard to clothing, but otherwise retain a distinct Armenian language, identity and culture.
